Generating and holding a crypto wallet for the first time is an intimidating complicated process. First-time users with little web3 experience are handed extremely sensitive private keys with little context or education.
This is a huge responsibility for first-time crypto users. Many people don't have the experience, knowledge, or desire to control such sensitive information. Inevitably, many of those users lose their keys and get hacked or scammed. Then, they walk away from web3 too scared to return. There goes the dream of mass adoption.
